| Taishi Duchicela is a 22-year young Raza woman currently attending her fifth year at San Francisco State University. She is majoring in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in environmental sustainability and social justice. She has studied abroad in Guayaquil, Ecuador and Florence, Italy in order to gain a political and social perspective on environmental issues. She has worked with an organization that geared their fundamental goals toward promoting literacy enriching the lives of pre-school children of low-income households. Taishi was raised throughout the Americas from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Changuinola, Panama. Taishi works with HOMEY on their Media and Education program. |
