| Jay grew up in the Mission with only one parent but had enough love to go around for a room full of people. He has been taught that the world is not so much for the keeping, but for the making. He currently a Senior in high school and is looking forward to going to college when he graduates. He wants to become successful and then he wants to help people who didn't have the opportunities that he did. He loves to run cross country. This sport has taught him to set goals and work hard to reach them. As a Sophmore, he was an editor and writer for Listen Up! before it became You Gotta Feel Me. Working on this project helped him gain a new voice for a new cause. Experience has taught him that he can chang the world by making his voice heard. |
