Topilli

'Topilli' means "keepers of the circle" in the indigenous Nahuatl language. The Topilli program serves a beginning stage for youth to develop critical thinking skills and knowledge that will allow them to take action in creating positive changes in their communities.

The Topilli Program is a branch of the Homies Skoolin Homies program that specifically serves Middle School students. Our Homies Schoolin Homies (HSH) support groups consist of one-on-one mentoring, support, resource referrals and popular education models.

Our overall goal is to empower youth and give them the tools necessary to transform their lives; and inspire them to not only choose a path of education, self-sufficiency and non-violence, but to also strive towards stability in their physical, mental and emotional well-being.
