Through a generous grant from the Mayors Office, HOMEY is now uniquely positioned to implement an economic development project, giving our highest-risk youth and young adults seed-funding grants and start-up loans to support the creation of small businesses such as a tattoo shop, a barber shop, a clothing line and a graphic design business such as Native Graphix.

Native Graphix is a social enterprise of H.O.M.E.Y (Homies Organizing the Mission to Empower Youth), a community based alternative to violence organization in San Francisco. There, we train, employ, and build leadership and job skills among youth most alienated from conventional means of support.
